General Information

Please refer to your technical sales representative for tinting recommendations.  Overshooting dyes and tints can cause adhesion failure.  It is to the user responsibility to validate performance.

Apply a generous layer of the wipe stain, wait 30 seconds to 1 minute to start wiping off the stain using a clean rag.  It is important to process quickly.  Once the work done, a 4 hours waiting period at room temperature should be respected before the application of the water-based sealer.

To obtain expected results, Promatch® Waterborne W/S Base should be applied at a temperature above 18°C and relative humidity below 65%.

See SDS - Keep from freezing.  Contact with metallic surfaces must be avoided.  It is important to recoat the stain within 8 hours of its application.

THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FOLLOWING THE RECOMMENDED APPLICATION PROCEDURES. FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS GIVEN IN THIS DATA SHEET WILL LIKELY RESULT IN UNSATISFACTORY FILM APPEARANCE OR FILM FAILURE. THE COMPLETE COATING SYSTEM SHOULD BE CHECKED FOR REQUIRED PROPERTIES PRIOR TO THE START-UP OF PRODUCTION.

Dry times are greatly affected by film build, porosity of substrate, air movement as well as heat and humidity. Temperatures are based on actual board temperature. This may vary depending on length of time for boards to reach these temperatures. Minimum curing temperatures of 64°F/18°C must be maintained throughout the curing cycle to achieve the film integrity as stated in product features.
