Product Description

825-09XX 550 VOC Stain stains offer a simple, low VOC one step stain color with good clarity and ease of workability. They may be clear coated with any of the Chemcraft solvent based Chemlack 550, Opticlear 550 or Plastofix Plus 550 products as well as the sealers associated with these systems.

All 825-09XX 550 VOC Stains are acid stable. They will not change color when an acid cured Chemcraft product is used to seal and topcoat them. These stains demonstrate good open time to allow for uniform appearance on large pieces.

Uses

825-09XX 550 VOC Stains are all-purpose wipe stains for furniture, millwork and cabinets.

Dry times are greatly affected by film build, porosity of substrate, air movement as well as heat and humidity. Temperatures are based on actual board temperature. This may vary depending on length of time for boards to reach these temperatures. Minimum curing temperatures of 64°F/18°C must be maintained throughout the curing cycle to achieve the film integrity as stated in product features.
