Solvent Borne Pre-Catalyzed Topcoat
Solvent borne performance and environmental responsibility in one package! AIRGUARD Solvent Borne Topcoat is a ready-to-use, self-sealing, Pre-Catalyzed lacquer that’s durable and light stable. This user-friendly product is recommended for office and household furniture, kitchen cabinets, and many other interior wood applications. It has improved moisture resistance, household wear and chemical resistance. When applied, it wets the wood like oil based products and enhances its natural color and beauty. AIRGUARD Solvent Borne Topcoat lets you give your clients a product that’s healthier for indoor environments without sacrificing performance.
The GREENGUARD Certification Program
The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) was created in 2001 to develop a set of testing standards to certify materials used in indoor environments. GREENGUARD Certification takes the guesswork out of choosing low-emitting products by certifying only those products that meet GEI’s stringent chemical emissions standards. Products must undergo quarterly monitoring and annual re-testing to maintain their certification.

The US Environmental Protection Agency, the American Lung Association, the World Health Organization and other public health and environmental organizations view indoor air pollution as one of the greatest risks to human health.
