Product Description
Acquaduro™ 1K Neutral Primer is a ready to use neutral waterborne primer. This waterborne primer provides excellent durability and water resistance on hardwoods or MDF. Acquaduro Waterborne Primer has great ease of application and fast application and dry times.
Recommended topcoat is the Acquaduro 2K Pigmented Polyurethane Waterborne Topcoat.
Uses
Acquaduro™ 1K Waterborne Neutral Primer has been designed for the cabinet, architectural millwork, furniture and refinish markets.

Directions for Use
Surface Preparation
Substrate must be sanded using 120, 150 or 180 grit paper prior to coating. Acquaduro™ 1K Waterborne Neutral Primer should be sanded with 280/320 grit paper prior to being coated. Acquaduro™ 1K Waterborne Neutral Primer should be coated within (8) hours of being sanded for maximum adhesion.
General Information
Mix material before use. Add water to reduce if required and mix thoroughly. Apply by spray at 4 - 6 mils wet. Acquaduro™ 1K Waterborne Neutral Primer must be agitated thoroughly at all times to ensure product consistency. Contact with metal surfaces should be avoided. Maximum film build of total coating system must not exceed 4 mils dry.
THE CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FOLLOWING THE RECOMMENDED APPLICATION PROCEDURES. FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS GIVEN IN THIS DATA SHEET WILL LIKELY RESULT IN UNSATISFACTORY FILM APPEARANCE OR FILM FAILURE. THE COMPLETE COATING SYSTEM SHOULD BE CHECKED FOR REQUIRED PROPERTIES PRIOR TO THE START-UP OF PRODUCTION.

Dry times are greatly affected by film build, porosity of substrate, air movement as well as heat and humidity. Temperatures are based on actual board temperature. This may vary depending on length of time for boards to reach these temperatures. Minimum curing temperatures of 64°F/18°C must be maintained throughout the curing cycle to achieve the film integrity as stated in product features.
