- Surface Preparation: Substrate must be sanded using 120, 150 or 180 grit paper prior to coating. WB White Stainblock Primer should be sanded with 280/320 grit paper prior to being coated. WB White Stainblock Prime should be coated within (8) hours of being sanded for maximum adhesion. When recoating, the previous coat of WB White Stainblock Primer must be sanded and the next coat applied within (8) hours.
- General Information:
Mix material before use. Add water to reduce if required and mix thoroughly. Apply by spray at 4 - 5 mils wet.
WB White Stainblock Primer must be agitated thoroughly at all times to ensure product consistency. Contact with metal surfaces should be avoided.
Maximum film build of total coating system must not exceed 4 mils dry.

WB White Stainblock Primer is a ready to use white waterborne primer. WB White Stainblock Primer provides very good hiding when used as a primer only on hardwoods or MDF. WB White Stainblock Primer offers excellent filling capabilities due to its high solid content at application (47% by volume). WB White Stainblock Primer provides an excellent base and is extreamely easy to sand. After sanding it may be topcoated with any of the Chemcrat topcoats from waterborne, pre-catalyzed lacquer, post-catalyzed lacquer, varish and urethane.
